Aurora means the dawn, or new day, & she was named for all the new beginnings she brought to Dream Hayven: the first Dream Hayven prefixed foal, the first Fell Pony born in Wisconsin, the first Fell Pony I raised from birth onward. Aurora arrived in the US in-utero, when I imported her dam, Corrennie Afton, in foal to Sleddale Eddie. Since then I've had many more Sleddale Eddie offspring and appreciate both their trainability and easy-going nature, along with the physical attributes shared by many of Eddie's progeny. Aurora has had nine foals thus far, foaling a colt to Stennerskeugh Danny Boy in 2022.
Aurora was shown to much success in Mountain & Moorland in-hand competition, garnering three championships in multi-breed classes. She has matured into a typey, intelligent mare with a charming personality.
